Welcome to .MOV International Digital Film Festival 2008

The Philippines’ first digital film festival is back, and you’re all invited to take part in this celebration of filmmaking using digital technology. Originally established in 2002 MOV has since served as the platform for budding and established digital filmmakers alike – local and foreign – to showcase the wonderful potentials the film industry can reach using digital tools.

This year’s .MOV International Digital Film Festival will be happening from September 24 to October 7, 2008 at Robinsons Movieworld Galleria in Manila, in participation with satellite venues in Iloilo, Bacolod, Cebu and Dumaguete.

Audiences will not only get the chance to view both local and foreign digital films but will also have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the work that goes on behind filmmaking through workshops in film criticism, cinematography, script writing and more.

Young aspiring filmmakers also have their chance to show what they’ve got through the .MOV Silvershorts Short Film Competition, where the grand winner will take home P100,000 in cash prize.
